I have been fishing my entire life. I grew up fishing with my grandpa on Lake Erie on his boat, and those memories as a kid are the absolute best I can remember from my childhood. Since then, I had a dream of running my own charter on Lake Erie where I could share my love and passion of the sport and pass on some of my knowledge to my customers so they can apply what they learn from me on their own boats. I especially love teaching kids and getting them hooked, just as I was at a young age. They are the future of the sport. I just love being on the water doing what I do best!

The name "Rocking Rooster Charters" came from my wife Alyssa and I's first date. We were out to dinner, and she said I was 'sexier than socks on a rooster'. I nearly spit my tea all over her from how hard it had me laughing. From that moment, she had me hooked. When we were thinking about our company name, it had to be Rocking Rooster. She designed the logo with socks on the rooster and an eagle globe and anchor on his arm symbolizing my marine corps veteran heritage!
